We provide permanent or temporary homes for cats. If we are able to rehabilitate and train the cats, we try to place them into permanent and loving homes. We take the worst-case behavioral cats when other rescues will decline them. We also rescue lemurs and other small exotic ex-pet mammals and provide them with a permanent home to get them out of the pet-trade.
We were founded in April 2020 right at the start of the pandemic. The first year we rescued about 40 cats and in 2022 we rescued over 100 cats. We are a foster based non-profit 501c2 organization. We partner with Best Friends Network, Petco, Bissell Foundation, Shelter Animals Count, Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center and are an approved adopter for the FWC exotic pet Amnesty Program.
